SIMBA ROAR AT LAST! Luveve curse broken as champs down lifeless Gamecocks

SIMBA Bhora finally broke their Luveve Stadium hoodoo — and they did it in style, silencing Chicken Inn with a hard-fought 1-0 win that handed them their first-ever topflight victory at the venue since earning promotion.

After a goalless but action-packed first half, it took just one minute into the second stanza for Isakar Gurirab to break Chicken Inn hearts, slotting home with ice-cold composure inside the box.
The Gamecocks were a shadow of themselves, failing to register a single shot on target throughout the 90 minutes, leaving their home fans stunned and frustrated.

Simba Bhora dominated from the get-go — Emmanuel Ziocha and Carlos Mavhurume kept peppering the Chicken Inn goal with long-range efforts, but goalkeeper Donovan Bernard stood firm… at least until Gurirab pounced on a defensive lapse.
Chicken Inn’s few chances — including a close call from Joseph Tulani — fizzled out as the strikers fired blanks, either sending shots wide or ballooning over.

This was the Gamecocks’ second loss of the season — and probably the most painful one yet, as Simba Bhora finally cracked the Luveve code.

Could this be the turning point for the defending champs’ away form?
Simba Bhora have roared, and Luveve won’t forget it!
