FILABUSI-based side Jordan Sinnot have had a good start to their first season in the Southern Region Division One League and defender Khulisani Moyo, is enjoying a fine start to life in the second tier.
Moyo joined Sinnot at the start of the season after a season with Chicken Inn’s developmental side which participates in the Bulawayo Province Division Two League.

The 21-year-old rightback has been one of the key players in the team, having featured in all the 17 matches that his team has played and managed to keep nine clean sheets.

Moyo opened up on his first season in the second tier league, in comparison to his last year in Division Two football.

“Both leagues are very competitive, but it is obvious and expected that the Division One league is the more competitive. I have learnt a lot this season in my first year in Division One football, about the game in general, how unfair and cruel it can be. All I can say is that I am still learning and I am grateful for the coaches at Jordan who keep believing in me and my abilities,” said Moyo.

Jordan Sinnot are in 12th place with 19 points, but they have a game in hand away to a struggling Binga United side in which they will hope that victory will move them up the log standings.

“We are in 12th place but I can admit that we are pretty much comfortable there. It is our first season there and there is no need to be under any sort of pressure.  We will keep trying to fight to improve and build our team which is full of young players also,” said Dube.

They travel to Turk Mine this Saturday to face seventh placed Casmyn in what is expected to be an interesting encounter after a three-week break.
