A HARARE woman is claiming that her sister’s ex husband comes to her place of residence uninvited demanding sex.
Abigail Kafa appeared before Harare Civil Court magistrate Meenal Naratom seeking a peace order against Shepherd Hide for insulting and sexually abusing her.
She claimed that Shepherd visits her home uninvited and demanding sex before assaulting her when she refuses.
“He comes over to my house when he wants sex.
“When l refuse, he insults and assaults me. He is my sister’s ex-husband.”
She also said that he threatens her with violence saying he will break her into pieces.
“He threatens to break me into pieces so that the police will not be able to find my body,” she said.
Shepherd responded by questioning the court’s authority for restricting his actions, claiming it’s his right to do as he pleases.
“I want the court to make me understand if a married woman is allowed to do whatever she pleases.
“I have no issues with the court granting her a peace order but it’s my right to do whatever l please on her.”
Magistrate Naratom granted the peace order and ordered Shepherd to stop abusing Abigail. – @hmetro
