A rapidly growing vocational college in Gweru, Sisters Training College, is evolving into a competitive college of choice in terms of quality and skills-based vocational training in Gweru.
Starting off in 2018 as a beauty college, Sisters Training College is now offering a variety of diploma and higher national diploma training in various fields.
As of 2023, the college had expanded its offerings to include a Diploma in Agriculture and Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Sisters Training College principal Ms Kudzai Chikowore said the institution has embraced hands-on skills-based learning that empowers students to be self-sufficient and entrepreneurial in line with the Government’s thrust on sustainable education.
“We have added a Diploma in Agriculture and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Our range of courses are suitable for both male and female students. We expose all our students to practical training. Those studying agriculture make use of our farm for their practicals in plant and animal management,” said Ms Chikowore.
All courses are offered to the level of diploma and higher national diploma, and these include:

Computer programming
Bakery
Beauty therapy
Introduction to cookery
Tourism and hospitality
Food and beverages
Sisters Training College is owned by Chikowore brothers and sisters, namely Memory, Kudzai, Kudakwashe and Shepherd.
