SIX people from Harare have died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Child Care has noted.
This brings the number of deaths to 141 in the county so far.
According to the latest Covid-19 update 70 new cases were reported yesterday with 67 being local cases and three returnees from Botswana.
Active cases continue to be on a downward trend with 1132 cases having been recorded yesterday.
257 new recoveries were recorded with Matabeleland South reporting 156 of those recoveries.
“As of 18 August 2020, Zimbabwe has now recorded 5378 cases 4105 recoveries and 141 deaths,” they said.
