Six PSL fixtures on…as MWOS fly to Kariba

SIX Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) fixtures are lined up for this afternoon with log leaders Simba Bhora set to face tricky TelOne at Gweru’s Ascot Stadium.

Under the tutelage of Joel Luphahla, Simba Bhora sit on the apex of the PSL log standings with 43 points, three ahead of second-placed MWOS and Scottland FC who are number three.

For their Week 21 away fixture against bruised ZPC Kariba set to be played at Nyamhunga Stadium, ambitious MWOS today took a morning flight.

The Punters, as MWOS are fondly known to hordes of their fans in Norton, will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after suffering two consecutive defeats the latest being their 2-0 loss they suffered at the hands of former champions FC Platinum.

The Platinum Boys cruised to victory courtesy of goals from Davison Marowa and Precious Phiri in either half.

The win, which saw MWOS fall for the first time at home, lifted FC Platinum to 31 points and sixth place on the log.

Herentals College are set to play host to Chicken Inn at Rufaro Stadium while Pure Platinum Play welcome Kwekwe United at Mandava Stadium.

Yadah FC have a date with Greenfuel at the Heart Stadium.

Ngezi Platinum Stars will square it off against CAPS United at Mhondoro’s Baobab Stadium
