SK Moyo gets Info Ministry

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo Information, Media and Broadcasting Services Acting Minister.

Ambassador Khaya Moyo (pictured) is Energy and Power Development Minister.

He is also the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

In a statement yesterday, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda said, “Please be informed that His Excellency, the President, has appointed Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo to act as Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services until further notice.

“In this regard, he has been advised to prepare targeted priorities for the Ministry concerned in order to present to Cabinet their quick-wins, for presentation within the 100-day circle.

“The Secretary for (the) Ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services has been advised of this development, and I am sure they have since prepared the quick-win projects.”
