SLIGHT DROP IN FUEL PRICE

THE Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced a reduction of fuel in US dollars.

In a statement, ZERA said the price of petrol had gone down to US$1.61 per litre from US$1.62 per litre.

Diesel now goes for US$1.64 per litre down from US$1.67.

The local currency price has, however, gone up with diesel now selling at $1 546.59 per litre from $1 499.26.

Petrol costs $1 522.76 from $1 455.32.

“The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio is at E10.

“Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations,” read the ZERA statement.
