All roads will today lead to Mambo, Tshabalala Community ground for the quarter-finals of the Bulawayo Social Soccer League Founders Cup Tournament.
The tournament started off with 60 teams from the three pools in the league, and the top eight will be in action at the same venue .
The day has been dubbed a family event by fixtures secretary Blessing Adolph Jonga.
“This is also a family day, everyone is expected to be at the venue as we embark on a long-term fundraising project to acquire assets for our league,’”said Jonga.
All games have the potential to produce a thriller, but all eyes will be on the match between the most successful team in the league, 70 Combination who meet modern day giants Stars FC.
Makwee, the holders of the Founders Cup have already been knocked out.
The Founders Cup is held as a way of appreciating the efforts by founders of the league .
Meanwhile, from the games played last weekend, the game between Fireworks the “Land Lords” against Zulu Chiefs was the talk of the town after they clobbered the visitors 8-1.
