THE much anticipated show pitting Nama and Zima award-winners, Jah Prayzah and ZimDancehall king Winky D has finally been confirmed.
The show has been slated for 30 April and will be held at the Amphitheatre in Bulawayo.
An organiser of the show Byron Rice told Sunday Life that he had booked the duo for the date.
“The show is on. We have finally booked them, as all logistics have been sorted. This is a must attend show. This is a show where we are giving all Bulawayo fans and surrounding areas a chance to watch them perform live on stage,” he said.
Running under the theme “Soja and Gaffa for Life 2016 Concert”, the show promises to be explosive, as there are a number of high profile artistes set to curtain raise.
“This will be the best show in Bulawayo. Bulawayo has been starved of entertainment for a while now and this will be the ice breaker,” said Rice.
Christened the men of the moment Soja and Gaffa will be sharing the stage for the first time in Bulawayo. Soja and Gaffa were neck on neck — scooping two awards apiece at the 15th edition of the National Arts Merit Awards (Nama) held at the 7 Arts Theatre in Harare in February. Jah Prayzah and Winky D were the biggest winners at the awards ceremony, turning them into the most sought after artistes in Zimbabwe.
