Son threatens to kill mother over house

brought to the civil court by his mother Stella who was seeking a protection order against him.
“Simbarashe is my biological son, but when he is shouting at me all our neighbours come out of their houses, he uses vulgar language.
“The main issue is that he wants to possess the house, which his father who died in 2007 left behind. He asked me why he is not taking his father’s inheritance while everyone knew he was doing so,” she said.
In response, Simbarashe left the court in stitches after he raised his right hand asking for forgiveness.
“I am asking for forgiveness in Jesus’ name for everything I wronged my mother and I swear this before you your worship. I realise I am causing problems for my children. In case my mother dies her avenging spirit will haunt my family.
“I am employed by City of Harare and I was given a residential stand in Hopley, by end of day today (yesterday) I will be there with my family,” he said.
Magistrate Mr Milton Serima, ordered Simbarashe to observe peace towards his mother and to stay away from her place of residence.
