ZIMDANCEHALL and reggae artist, Allanah, says she is still in the game despite keeping a low profile.

Allanah said she has been quiet lately, since she has been trying to settle down, after getting married.

She said she was still mourning her mother’s death. She told H-Metro singing was a calling for her and she will continue to embrace it.

“I know I have been quiet lately, but it doesn’t mean that I am no longer in the music industry. I lost my mother, got married, and the whole thing of relocating, everything was just on me. I couldn’t manage to concentrate on music before I settled.

“I’m still in the game and also I am here to stay,”she said.

Allanah released a new track on August 2, titled Chimoto.

“I released a new track on my birthday.

“But, I’m still waiting for YouTube to verify it. The message behind the track Chimoto is just reflections of what’s happening in our modern world.

“It’s a drama song and also a song to cheer up people,” said Allanah.

She added : “As usual, I’m expecting massive support from my fans and every one on this track.

“I have faith that the track will be received and responded well.”

The songbird acknowledged her husband’s support.

“I have been wondering how I will be able to balance my career and my marriage.

“But I thank God for the gift of my husband. He is so supportive, he got my back and he encourages me to pursue my career.

“I really appreciate my husband’s love and support. I just learnt that nothing is more painful than death here on this earth.

“No matter how hard we can grieve, death is something that we cannot run away from.

“Seriously, to date I haven’t accepted that my mom is no more, death brings inevitable trauma,”said Allanah.
