Sorry, we pulled your leg

On Tuesday, scores of people called the newsroom enquiring about self-exiled Chimurenga musician Thomas Mapfumo, whom we had reported as jetting into Harare on Monday evening ahead of his much-publicised gig with Jah Prayzah in South Africa. The photograph we used to buttress the story, which had him being mobbed by fans, was photoshopped as part of  our April Fool’s Day prank. Happy reading. — Editor.
