Soul Jah Love, Bounty Lisa clash

REVERED Zim dancehall chanter, Soul Jah Love, will tonight (Friday) serenade a legion of his Mutare fans when he officially opens the re-branded Flavour Town.

It will be a family affair at the entertainment spot situated in the Central Business District as Soul Jah Love will be clashing with better half, Bounty Lisa, who has also carved a niche for herself in the Zim dancehall music industry.

Flavour Town which last hosted a high profile musician more than three years ago is certainly a place to be this weekend as the Chibaba, as Soul Love is affectionately known will be dishing out a blend of yesteryear and new hits in a potential thriller.

Among them, the dreadlocked musician is expected to belt tracks such as Ndovashurudzira, Chikwambo, Ndichingomuona feat Quonfused, Handichadi nhamo, Ndini uya uya and Handichabatika.

Self-proclaimed dancehall queen, Bounty Lisa, born Lynette Musenyi, is also expected to prove why she is one of the most celebrated female dancehall artiste when performs alongside the Ndini uya uya hit-maker. She has two albums to date which are Mangoma and Masterpiece both released last year.

She also has fine tracks such as We taking over, Nhasi Ndozvitaura featuring Seh Calaz as well as the hit song, Wandipengesa, which features Soul Jah Love.

Flavour Town club entertainment manager, Simba Bvute, fondly known as Jiggah, confirmed the show and said they were happy to bring one of the talented Zim dancehall artistes to the eastern border city.

“Flavour Town is now a re-branded joint and we urge fun lovers to come in numbers and enjoy music. We are back with a bang and patrons should look forward to having a blissful night,” said Jiggah.
