The South Africa-based DJ Gully Pop says he gives credit to his late brother, Jah Love who motivated him to stay determined and resolute while in a foreign land.

“I lived a life of a street kid but now I am a boss, I own a petroleum company that I formed with Sauro before he died.
“It’s called Conquering Bulk Fuels and I am the owner.
“When I came here, I lived like a street kid and life was miserable.

“Sauro motivated me to continue fighting.
“He told me not to come home and I listened and worked hard.”
“Now I have launched a radio station which I want all the artists in dancehall and Hip Hop to get airplay and exposure.
“People have to come and get the opportunity and this is a reflection of my struggle I went through for me to achieve this dream.
“The journey was something else and it was painful.
“But by God we made it,” he said.
The DJ said for to be what he is today he gives credit to Ethaton, Sunishine.
“I passed through their hands until I met Sauro.
“We struggled in Jozi, Sauro even knew my journey.
“He motivated me.”
