Bar Rouge at Longcheng Plaza is fast becoming an executive outing of choice.
Many people from the affluent environs of the capital have made the joint a place to refresh after their busy schedules. Because most of patrons at Bar Rouge are mature, management at the place has responded by bringing music for that generation.
Tonight the place presents the group Soul Train that is known for serenading fans with their classic jazz. The group has performed at a number of uptown joints in the capital and is gaining more space in the circle.

Bar Rouge manager Spencer Sahumani said they followed the group at its previous shows and recommended it for tonight’s classic night. “They are good performers. They have done well most of their shows and we thought of bringing them here for a classic jazz night. Many people here like this type of music and they will have more excitement when the music comes live,” said Sahumani.
He said the bar strives to be a meeting point for people that enjoy good music in classic ambiance and they will bring more groups that play similar music.
The joint has hosted several musicians and remains one of the upmarket venues that roll out live shows every week.
