The mining town of Gwanda in Matabeleland South will be put on fire as South Africa’s AmaPiano duo Murumba Pitch will set ablaze Phoenix Tshisanyama with a performance on 19 October.
The much anticipated event is organised by DTL Records – an event management company, which has dedicated itself to providing top-notch gigs in Gwanda for the past five years.
The Hamba Juba hit-makers will share the stage with some of Gwanda’s talented musicians including Zagoe Radge, Zhezhingtons, MC Gibbons, MC Freddy K, DJ Virus and Wyolif.

Promoter, Dee Nosh, of DTL Records said they were excited to bring Murumba Pitch to the mining town as the duo has proven to be one of the favourite artistes on the most wanted list in Gwanda.
He said they managed to balance the line-up by placing local creatives in the mix.
“Murumba Pitch is undoubtedly one of the best AmaPiano groups the world has ever seen and it is a pleasure for us to reckon with such a huge brand as we finally bring them to Gwanda.
“People requested that we bring them as we take pride in honouring the wishes of our patrons, and on 19 October, Phoenix Tshisanyama will be the place to be as the artistes are fully booked and they have confirmed their participation at the gig.
“On the line-up, we also included a number of great performers from Gwanda. These are well known creatives in the town and by roping them we want them to foster a solid relationship with their potential fans, and I believe they will do justice on stage,” said Dee Nosh.
He encouraged people to buy their tickets early to avoid disappointments on the night of the show.
