Speaker lobbies for Chief Charumbira’s PAP presidency

Speaker of the National Assembly Advocate Jacob Mudenda has urged various African countries to support the candidature of Chief Fortune Charumbira for the Pan African Parliament presidency.

Chief Charumbira is the candidate for the Sadc region after the PAP executive council last month adopted the principle of rotation of its leader.

During his ongoing visit Advocate Mudenda met Rwanda’s Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Ms Donatile Makubalisa and Speaker of Senate Dr Augustin Lyamuremye.

In Uganda, he met Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Ms Anita Among while in Egypt, he met the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Ahmed Saad Nedine.
