Special Thank you to Mwana Rugby Festival - herald

Special Thank you to Mwana Rugby Festival

The Mwana Rugby Festival, being hosted at Prince Edward School, has established itself as a fiercely competitive rugby competition, infused with a contagious energy of unity and joy.

This festival has not only showcased top-tier rugby but has also presented Drug Free Zim with a golden opportunity to spearhead a recruitment drive for their newly established initiative, Drug Free Zim Youth Warriors. The Mwana Rugby Festival has sparked a powerful start to the mobilization program with over 300 passionate Youth Warriors who have stepped up, signed up, and committed to protecting the future generation from the harmful effects of substance abuse.

“We express our deepest gratitude to the Mwana Group for dedicating their time, effort, and financial resources to organise this spectacular tournament, which serves as the perfect platform for us to engage with the youth in a positive manner through the medium of sport,” said Billy Jassat.

Special appreciation goes to Mr. Kuda Mutenda for his invaluable efforts in making this collaboration a reality. The support and commitment of the Mwana Group have paved a way for Drug Free Zim to reach out to young minds and instil in them the values of a drug-free lifestyle. Together, they are creating a brighter future for our youth, one filled with positivity, unity, and hope.

“Thank you, Mwana Group, for your investment in the well-being and development of our youth, and for championing the cause of creating a drug-free generation. Your partnership is truly making a difference in the lives of many, and we are honoured to be part of this transformative journey,” said Billy Jassat.
