South Africa’s celebrated gospel collective, Spirit of Praise, is set to bless worshippers with a new Extended Play (EP) titled Ivangeli, adding another spirit-filled offering to its growing catalogue of praise and worship projects.
The EP serves as a special release ahead of the highly anticipated Spirit of Praise(SOP) 12 live DVD recording, scheduled for July 18 at the SunBet Arena, Time Square, Pretoria.

Designed as a precursor to the landmark event, Ivangeli is expected to prepare audiences spiritually while building excitement for the next chapter of the renowned gospel franchise.
The project is set to feature some of the voices that have become synonymous with the Spirit of Praise brand over the years, including Ayanda Ntanzi, whose song Lifikile Ivangeli is expected to lead the release.
Meanwhile, anticipation continues to build for the Spirit of Praise 12 live recording, which is expected to attract thousands of gospel music lovers from across Southern Africa.
The award-winning ensemble will capture its 12th instalment in a landmark worship experience featuring soul-stirring performances and a star-studded line-up of gospel ministers.

Among the featured artistes are Zimbabwean gospel heavyweights Everton Mlalazi and Canaan Nyathi, whose inclusion in Spirit of Praise projects over the past year has significantly strengthened the ensemble’s footprint in Zimbabwe. Through their contributions to recordings, live performances and regional tours, the duo has helped the brand forge a deeper connection with Zimbabwean audiences.
Mlalazi’s standout performances on songs such as Ekhaya, coupled with Nyathi’s powerful worship ministrations, have earned widespread acclaim and drawn more Zimbabwean fans to the Spirit of Praise movement. Their growing influence has also heightened local interest in the group’s music releases and live events.
As the countdown to Spirit of Praise 12 continues, expectations remain high for both artistes to once again deliver memorable and spiritually uplifting performances. Their participation is expected to further elevate Zimbabwe’s representation on one of Africa’s biggest and most influential gospel platforms.
