In August, the People’s Paper reported that a celeb source had claimed that tycoon Edwin Sodi had first hooked up with Onalerona in a car wash at Ruimsig, west of Jozi, during 2013.
When Sunday Sun broke the news to the popular Idols SA presenter about his wife’s alleged cheating, a shocked and irritated Tebogo Thekisho – ProVerb’s real name – said at the time: “I think it’s hogwash! And I don’t want to entertain that issue.”
The couple have two kids together. They met while she was still in high school. The pair went through a rough patch a few years ago and were set to divorce but reconciled and made an effort to work on their union.
ProVerb posted this heartsore message addressed “To my family”: “Thank you for all the support and love that you have shown me. Today marks a new beginning for all of us. The divorce order has been granted.
“Through God’s grace and faith, I believe that God will continue to be faithful to us and lead in our lives.
