Spurs get another Belgian

The club confirmed Chadli will join up with the squad for pre-season training in Hong Kong subject to passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
Chadli, who has been previously linked with Roma,  is thought to be a Franco Baldini inspired signing.

The wing man’s versatility is sure to be a bonus for Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas, who likes to move talisman Gareth Bale around the pitch.
He scored at White Hart Lane in the Champions League when Tottenham and Twente were drawn together in the group stages, three years ago.
Swansea and Aston Villa had also shown interest in Chadli, who has dual citizenship and played for Morocco in a friendly before opting to represent Belgium, the country of his birth.

Tottenham’s normally cautious chairman Daniel Levy is prepared to sanction an £18million move for Valencia striker Roberto Soldado that would break the club’s record transfer fee.Levy, who is not expecting to lose manager Andre Villas-Boas to Barcelona or star man Gareth Bale to Manchester United despite speculation linking both men, is instead looking to show the club’s ambition by bringing in Spain international Soldado to solve the team’s problems up front. — Mailonline.
