GET ready to sweat, Bulawayo! South Africa’s bicep-blessed beast and “King of Squats,” Nkululeko Zane Dlamini, is back to shake the ground at the Supermed Health Expo 2025 — and this time, he’s bringing the heat!

Set for Saturday, May 3 at the ZIEC grounds, the third edition of the health fest promises a sizzling mix of fitness, health checks, and pure entertainment. With last year’s attendance blowing past 2 000, expectations are sky-high — and with Dlamini leading the charge, fans are ready to squat till they drop!

The chiseled trainer lands in the city Wednesday and will headline fitness sessions alongside local gym warriors from Barberton and Beast Bae. Think Zumba, aerobics, and glutes of steel.

But it’s not all sweat and flex — the expo will dish out free health screenings for blood pressure, sugar, and cholesterol. It’s a full-body tune-up with a beat, thanks to DJs Mzoe, Nospa, and Eugy, and a live set by The Travellers Band.

Need a dose of inspiration? Life coach Marilyn and business maverick Arthur Evans are bringing the brains to match the brawn.

According to Supermed’s marketing guru Alleta Nyathi, the event is more than just fun and fitness — it’s about tackling serious issues like mental health and drug abuse, especially among the youth.

“This is a celebration of life,” she said. “But also a wake-up call to prioritise wellness in a time when our community faces so many social challenges.”
