Students from St Dominic’s Chishawasha last week visited Herald House for a tour of The Sunday Mail Newsroom. They got to meet The Sunday Mail editors, sub-editors and reporters
. They had question and answer sessions with the Sunday Mail Staff and got to understand how news is published. The students met The Sunday Mail news editor, sports editor, online editor, agriculture editor and chief-sub editor among other people.
The Sunday Mail Bridge’s Charles Mushinga took them on the tour and explained what news is to them. They asked about the characteristics that make good journalists and got assistance from The Sunday Mail staff. They also got to witness a real Sunday Mail page being designed by one of the sub-editors, Tariro Jack.
