St John’s at the top of their game

he is working with Ryan Barbour.

Felix Mutare is now the colts’ coach.

St John’s will be hosted by Alex Park School tomorrow before they engage Ruzawi next week and the mentor is hopeful they will do well.

“The season promises to be good, we have a strong squad and we are happy all the boys serious in their training,” said Ndimutseyi.

“Our first fixture will not give us some competition.

“But we are expecting a tough match against Ruzawi.

“We have always had tough matches against them.

“We are trying to make the boys play attractive rugby and not traditional rugby this season.

“We took part in a festival recently called Gateway Coaches’ festival, which was a platform for the coaches to analyse their teams, so we have already done an assessment of the squad we have and it is a strong one.”

Ndimutseyi said he was happy with his team’s performance at the festival.

“We played six matches and we won three, drew one and narrowly lost two,” said Ndimutseyi.

“The boys played well. They followed the instructions and if they stick together they will be a tough team to beat.”
