St John’s SHOCKER! Manager drowns in US$14K fraud scandal!

FAITH Nhlamba, the once-respected St John’s Ambulance services manager, is now at the centre of a murky financial storm — accused of siphoning US$14 480 from the organisation’s coffers!

The drama unfolded in Bulawayo Magistrates Court on Monday, where a teary-eyed Nhlamba appeared before Magistrate Ernest Muzembi, to answer to fraud charges. She pleaded not guilty, but was slapped with US$200 bail and remanded out of custody to 28 April.

The alleged loot surfaced after internal auditors pored over the books for August and September last year —only to discover a whopping US$14 480 black hole!
When grilled by company bosses, Nhlamba reportedly failed to explain the shortfall. That silence proved loud enough — the case was handed over to the police, and Nhlamba was swiftly cuffed.
Sources close to the matter say the financial rot could go deeper than the current charge, with investigators still combing through records.

“She couldn’t give a straight answer when we asked about the missing money. That’s when we knew something was off,” a source revealed.

Police confirmed the arrest, saying investigations are ongoing and more charges could be on the cards.
The scandal has rocked the respected ambulance service, known for saving lives — not losing cash. As the courtroom countdown continues, all eyes will be on what comes next for the woman now fighting to clear her name.
