Stakeholders have called for the continuous rollout of gender-based violence mobile one-stop centres in marginalised communities to improve access to birth registration, legal services, health check-ups, empowerment and access to justice among others.

This came out in the recommendations submitted by different stakeholders after conducting a two-day mobile one-stop centres in Monozi and Mushumbe last week.

Stakeholders who took part like the Civil Registry Department and the Zimbabwe Republic Police Victim Friendly Unit said some of the communities were unable to attain the necessary documentation and proper information.

They said some cases reported needed further investigations and verifications to ascertain what transpired or before issuing birth certificates.
