Value addition on granite stone commended

The Second Republic under President Mnangagwa has been commended for insisting on value addition of all granite stones and other minerals before being exported.
This allows the nation to realise more revenue from its minerals and other abundant resources found across the country.

Mashonaland East Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Dr Apollonia Munzverengwi toured Rich Basin Minerals’ granite stone processing plant in Mutoko where she expressed satisfaction of the cutting and polishing of granite stone being done by the company.

Currently, the company is focusing on cutting, polishing and designing granite stones for local and international markets
