Star FM to celebrate Valentine’s in style

Love is in the air and the country’s first commercial radio station and fastest growing radio brand; Star FM, will not be left behind. The station will celebrate this Valentine’s Day in style by partnering with different players in exciting activities this Saturday the 14th of February. From 9:am to 12 noon, on the day for lovers, an outside broadcast will be taking place at Sam Levy’s Village featuring Kelvin Sifelani aka The Soul Supreme and Tariro. This is the duo’s second appearance at the Village, which Star FM is proud to be official radio partner to.

Star FM’s Programming Manager; Comfort Mbofana says shoppers and diners at the village on Valentine’s Day can expect to be serenaded with some love music and roses courtesy of Star FM.

“It is a day of love and we will ensure that we give shoppers music that is suitable for such an occasion,” he said.

From 12: noon to 3: pm lovers and fans alike can join Kudzai Violet Gwara aka ‘KVG’ and Phathisani ‘Masugar’ Sibanda, known for their hot drive time show, as they broadcast live from the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex.

This initiative is a partnership between Star FM and an HIV and AIDS service organisation, Youth Advocates of Zimbabwe, whose aim is to encourage young people to have clean fun and avoid sex, alcohol and drugs.

In the evening; a dinner will take place at the Holiday Inn, Harare where Star FM has partnered with African Sun, to bring lovers together in style.

Songstress Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana will scintillate lovers as they have their dinner with some love tunes. Couples dining at Holiday Inn will also have the chance to interact with Star FM personalities.

Star FM, which reaches out to millions of listeners across the world, encourages its fans and their loved ones to visit Sam Levy’s Village, the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex and Holiday Inn on Valentine’s Day respectively on Valentine’s Day and share some love with their favourite Star FM personalities. – Star FM.
