STEELMATE Investments has opened another branch in Willowvale, Harare, to boost its visibility across the capital and move closer to its clients.

Speaking to H-Metro, Tererai Chivodze, the company’s operations manager, said:

“Our orders are increasing day by day and this facility is a way to decongest traffic flow and increase capacity of our rolling machines and in the future we will start heavy manufacturing.

“This branch came at a time when we were very prepared, we were failing to hold things that we were holding for our customers since we have more than 400 lines of steel.

“The major drive of this expansion is holding capacity, and we hope to become the most effective steel supplier in Zimbabwe,” he said.

In support of the National Development Strategy, Steelmate seeks to expand its territory to Bulawayo, Mutare and Masvingo.

“We managed to reach the countryside.

“Anyone can place an order in any part of the country.

“Originally, we were a steel distribution company, however, within the past year we have managed to fix and supply even bigger warehouses,” said Chivodze.
