HARARE Civil Court magistrate Meenal Naratom has granted a protection order to a woman whose step-son is threatening to stab her.
The woman Zvisinai Kinsi is accusing her stepson, Munashe Munyoro of threatening to stab her with a knife. She told the court that he threatened to stab her with a knife, break into her home, and destroy her belongings.
“He threatens to stab me with a knife, assaults me, and breaks into my house destroying my property.
“He is in the habit of locking the toilet door and calls me a prostitute and that l belong in a bar.”
In response Munashe denied all the claims, accusing Zvisinai of fabricating lies to avoid obtaining his father’s death certificate and to chase him away from his inheritance.
“I have never threatened to stab her with a knife and she is fabricating lies because she does not want to go and get my father’s death certificate since 2016.
She wants to chase me away from my father’s property”.
The court granted Zvisinai a protection order.
