Stop the abuse

I can still hear my heart pounding

Fear and hate growing everyday

For the men out there abusing children everyday

To think that men like that are living in this day and age make no sense

I thought the world had changed for the better

 

I hear so many cries in my sleep

As the children out there scream for help

I conclude that l am hallucinating

And try to go back to sleep

 

But every time I see the readings

I feel like l am going to scream

Oh Lord, help us please

 

They are abusing young girls

And who in this world is going to stop them?

Someone needs to knock some sense in those heads

 

If it is not someone sexually abusing a child

It is someone threatening and beating them.

Please, save the children.
