HARARE Saturday League (HSL) has released stringent measures which will be followed when their social league resumes next month.
The league’s leadership held a meeting and agreed on measures to implement to make the HSL one of the better social leagues.
In the domestic Premiership, each team is required to register five players below the age of 19.
HSL has ordered its affiliates not to register more than five players who are below 26 years.
And, one measure which underlines that the league is not going to entertain any form of indiscipline is that if players fight, they will be suspended for the whole season and the club will be fined.
Pitches must be well kept with lawn and clear markings and nets on. If opponents are not happy with the pitch, they must play under protest and write a formal complaint to the HSL.
The away team has to enquire from the host team about the colour kit it will be using. The away team also has to always carry at least two kits to avoid a clash of colours.
Each team to submit a list of 30 players, 25 players must be above 26 years and at least five under 26. No player can play for more than one team.
At least five substitutes will be allowed per game and if a serious injury occurs after a team has used all its substitutes, an additional substitution can be made.
No player will be allowed to join another team unless it’s window period.
Each team is supposed to bring copies of colour printed IDs for vetting.
