Controversial rapper Stunner real name Desmond Chideme said is he is happy with success of the shows he staged in United Kingdom recently. The artiste said he had three shows that he did with BaShupi which were fairly attended. “It was quite an experience to be share the stage with BaShupi on all the shows l did.
“It’s a bit challenging though to sing for some people who do not understand your language but l realised that they are most concerned about the beat than the content that is why l do some choruses they can sing along to,” he said.
All the shows he did were promoted by a UK based promoter Heather Mudhari of Rainbow Entertainment. They had shows at Conventry, Leeds and Glasgow at Calabash Club. The rapper believes it’s his season to shine as he prepares to release a single very soon.
“Before l had my ups and downs but 2014 is my year. I have a single that will be released any time from now called “Dzika Navo” off my forthcoming album to be released before this year ends.
“Music lovers should look out for it because the song contains 12 voices of different artistes with five people singing the chorus seperatly.Some of the artistes involved include Trevor Dongo and Maskiri.
He said he was not aware that there was “beef” between him and BaShupi.
“I was actually surprised to read it in the press that there is hatred between me and BaShupi, infact we are in good books but because we collaborated before does not mean that we must always stick together.
“We were happy performing together at all the shows we had in UK, so those rumours are just lies,” he said.
Stunner had a rough experiences last year. He was dumped by his socialite girlfriend Pokello Nare in favour for her fellow Big Brother Africa housemate Ghanaian Elikem Kumordzi. He was snubbed by fans who did not vote him at Zim Hip Hop Awards where he was set to receive the People’s Choice Award.
The Tazoita Cash Records founder is a fighter who has been known for come backs despite setbacks in his career.
