THE Tazoita Cash Records label proprietor, Stunner, whose real name is Desmond Chideme will tonight (Friday) serenade Mutare hip-hop fans at BarCode (Raylton Club).
The artiste known for his swag and lavish lifestyle, which has its share of controversy, will be promoting his latest forthcoming album Toitoi at the show dubbed the ‘Black and Gold party’.
The Team Hombe hit-maker confirmed the show on Monday and said he was excited about performing in Mutare for the first time this year.
“I last performed in Mutare last year and I like the city which is why I decided to come there first to promote my forthcoming 10th album, Toitoi.
“The Black and Gold party will see a cameo performance from me as I intend to do a countrywide tour to promote my forthcoming album,” said Stunner.
He said he would be bringing some surprise guest artistes to spice-up the evening’s entertainment.
Among some of the surprise guest artistes billed to perform is Baba Shupi of the multi-award winning duet song, Godo with Stunner in 2012. The song literally became a national anthem.
Baba Shupi also collaborated with Pee Kay in the 2014 hit-song Ma1.
“I am promising fireworks for the Mutare show, so to all revellers and hip-hop lovers please come out and let us enjoy the evening together,” said Stunner.
Early this month, BarCode hosted urban grooves legends, Rockford ‘Roki’ Josephats and Enock ‘Ex-Q’ Munhenga who were promoting their Alleluya promotion tour.
The nightclub has over the years brought in the city several prominent artistes and highly regarded club DJs such as Judgement Yard, DJ Stavo and DJ Ash Stylez to mention a few.
