Liverpool have not qualified for the Champions League since 2009, but despite likely interest in Suarez from some of Europe’s top clubs, Rodgers is confident he will still be at Anfield next season.
The Uruguayan striker has not played Champions League football since moving to Anfield in January 2011 and will miss out again next season.
But boss Rodgers insists Suarez is an integral part of the team and no offers will be considered by the club’s owners.
He said: “There’s certainly no pressure for the club to sell him. We’re trying to build that bit of quality, so he’s not for sale.
“I don’t have any doubts there will be interest in him this summer, because he’s up there.
“There’s a small percentage of players who are world class and he’s in that bracket, so I don’t think it will be too dissimilar to when I first came in last summer, with clubs making their interest known. — AFP.
