MULTI-AWARD-WINNING musician, Suluman Chimbetu has dropped three singles set to get fans into party mode this Christmas.
Two of the singles namely “Zororo” and ‘Macamarada’ were produced by Munya Viyali back to back with Tatenda Viyali and again Sulu experiments with his sound to come up with a unique groove.
In an interview with the Zimbo Jam Sulu said, “We did not drop a brand new album in 2015 because the fans said we should not rush as they were still enjoying my 2014 release, ‘Gunship’.”
“But, the very same fans began crying out for something new for the festive season and we decided to drop these tracks.”
‘Zororo’ and ‘Macamarada’ have the original dendera feel and fans are in for a treat. On the latter track, Sulu introduces keyboards to his music which bring in a refreshing variation to the progression of the track.
On ‘Open Your Heart’ Sulu ventures into house music by collaborating with Angolan, Australian-based artist, Lisa Viola. This track was produced in Australia.
The three tracks were officially launched at Mushandirapamwe Hotel on December 24.
Sudza also said fans should look out for a kicking 2016.
“2016 will see us pushing our brand aggressively onto the international market. We will also be dropping the ‘Gunship’ DVD in March.” — zimbojam
