The second edition of the Summer Pork and Music Festival originally hosted in Chivhu, is in Harare this time around and headlined by man of the moment Jah Prayzah. The festival takes place today and tomorrow. The “Eriza” hitmaker is expected to perform alongside Young Igwe, Peter Moyo, kick-starting the festival.
Jah Prayzah being the main attraction he is also expected to be mingling with his fans tomorrow afternoon with his fellow companion Sulumani Chimbetu who will be the main act at tomorrow’s show.
The festival organisers Impala’s group marketing manager, Jackie Gwangwadza said this year’s festival is set to be very exciting and full of fun for the whole family.
“The event will run for two days instead of the initial one day as this will give us time to educate people on our products as the Swine Company. The first 100 people on Saturday will also get free pork braai packs.
“The evening’s entertainment on Saturday will be ushered in by DJ Cables, DJ Lionel Mnkandla and DJ Godfrey Gweje.
The evening revelers will dance the night away to music from Chimbetu and the Ochestra Dendera Kings, Tocky Vibes and Seh Calaz till late,” she said.
The Swine Company is a commercial pig farming business in Chivu.
It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Impala Group, comprising of Impala Car Rental, Fasfit Matlock, and Panacea24.
In an effort to increase awareness of the company’s services and products as well as bringing people together for fun the company is once again hosting the Summer Pork and Music Festival.
