Summer Series comes to an end

THE ZIMBABWE Rugby Union are expected to conclude their selection process of the Zimbabwe Cheetahs side when the Sevens Summer Series comes to an end today at Old Georgians Sports Club.

Six teams are set to converge in Harare for the showdown.

The Cheetahs will represent the country in the Confederation of African Rugby 7s tournament to be held at Harare Sports Club from November 29 to 30.

With Old Georgians defeating Harare Sports Club 29-22 in the last weeks’ fixture, Sports Club will be out for revenge.

Sports Club centre Stephan Hunduza believes they can do well.

“It was sad we lost but it is very easy to win, we must work as team. We have a good coach Daniel (Hondo) but I think the mistake we made last week was playing individual rugby when it is teamwork that can make us win. I am looking forward to a tough match, OGs are a big team and we have to be competitive to beat them. I hope we will win.”
