A local football star, from a giant football team who shares a name with a prominent Disney character from the cartoon series — Little mermaid is rumoured to have scored outside the pitch and is undergoing lobola negotiations.
The footballer, who plays for one of the biggest football teams in the country is however, said to be at loggerheads with his in-laws, as they are demanding too much money.
The football star is also reported to have exchanged words with his in-laws a few weeks ago, after he “disrespected” them and went to their home dressed in jeans with no jacket. We all know that when going for lobola negotiations we have to be dressed presentably.
It is said that he and his father went to the girl’s home dressed in jeans and t-shirts, where they were told to come back on another day when they were dressed presentable for negotiations to start.
