SUPER GOALS IN  BATTLE OF THE CITIES

Brandon Moyo

Highlanders………….(0) 1

CAPS United…………(1)  1

TWO brilliant individual goals defined this Castle Lager Premier Soccer League clash between Highlanders and CAPS United at Barbourfields yesterday.

Makepekepe’s Rodwell Chinyengetere first-half strike beat veteran Bosso veteran goalminder Ariel Sibanda in the 14th minute.

Then, it turned out to be a blow-for-blow affair and Mason Mushore, of  Bosso, got the equaliser with another top drawer thunderbolt in the second half.

It was a show that belonged to Chinyengetere, a player who showed that class is permanent, courtesy of his beautiful goal and goal attempts.

Chinyengetere’s long range shot from outside the box Bosso skipper Sibanda, who had no chance, and he never stopped probing for the entire game.

But the visitors were denied victory as Mushore got the equaliser for the Bulawayo giants with another well-taken strike with a thunderbolt that ejected the Bosso faithful from their seats.
