husband Jim Bob have revealed they are expecting their 20th child.
Despite her age, Michelle told the Today show: “We are so excited. I was not thinking that God would give us another one, and we are just so grateful.”
Already three-and-a-half months gone and experiencing cravings of dill pickles, she revealed she was not worried about the health aspects – despite the complications in her last pregnancy – as she is in ‘better shape than she has been for 20 years’, exercising five or six days a week
Doctors have given her the green light and she is safely over the first trimester.
This will be Michelle’s first scheduled c-section, after her youngest daughter’s emergency c-section made vaginal birth too risky.
The super-sized and still-growing family star in their own popular reality show which saw the first two grandchildren welcomed into the Duggar clan.

The couple have always said that they leave their family planning up to God and forego any form of birth control. When they were on the Today show last year, Michelle said: “When we look at (youngest child) Josie . . . even knowing that we went through the challenge that we did, we would do it again.
“The precious life that we see here is not a coincidence. I just know that it is a miracle. I don’t take that for granted.
“I know that God is the one who gives life, and I’m just so grateful and thankful. We would welcome another if He saw fit, but we’ll wait and see.”
The Duggars’ 19 children range in age from 23 years to 23 months. They are: Joshua, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace, Josie.
Their youngest daughter had to be delivered three-and-a-half months prematurely after Michelle suffered from gall-bladder problems and preeclampsia.
Little Josie weighed only one pound, six ounces at birth, and endured a series of health emergencies, including a perforated bowel.
But she was eventually allowed home to the rest of the family and is a healthy and happy toddler, celebrating her birthday next month.
Asked how they can afford to have so many children, John Bob said: “We went to a conference to learn how to get out of debt and we did it and it is really freeing.”
His wife added: “Buy, use and save the difference, that is how we do it.”
The rest of the Duggar clan thought their father was joking when he told them they would be welcoming the twentieth addition to the family.
Jackson, seven, has already started rooting for another boy.
They will find out the gender at Christmas.
Jim Bob told the Today show: “Michelle and I both feel like some of the most blessed parents in the world. Our children are so sweet . . . we are so grateful to God. And anyway, we didn’t want to stop on an odd number!” – Daily Mail.
