‘SUPPORT KIDS’ DREAMS’

YOUNG model and radio personality, Tamar Muchineuta, has urged parents to support their children’s dreams.

Speaking at an event attended by 250 children, organised by Glowing Gifts, a Kenyan-based organisation that nurtures children’s talents, Tamar (9) encouraged children to remember the less privileged in their community.

She spoke about her passion for modelling and dreaming big.

Tamar was crowned Rising Star Queen at the Little Mr and Miss Africa pageant held in Johannesburg in April.

She was recently invited to be a guest on Kenyan television station, EBN.

“I want to urge our parents to support their children’s dreams. There is a need for support in helping kids achieve what they are passionate about.

“To my fellow children, let us remember the less privileged in our countries as every child deserves education, shelter and good health.

“They wanted to know more about my profile, what difference we can make in Africa and what really inspired me to be a philanthropist and model.

“I want to thank the Traverze Agency, owned by Zodwa Mkandla, for making this journey possible,” said Tamar.

Her mother and manager, Shalom Ramunyenyiwa, said her daughter was determined to conquer the world.

“She advised Africans to be united and work together, and parents to support their children’s dreams.

“She also urged them to believe and have confidence in them and not let anyone tell them they can’t.

“As long as you believe in yourself you can be or do anything,” she said.
