A 61-year-old man from Tuli area in Beitbridge district, who was facing charges of unlawful entry and rape, committed suicide.
The man identified as Jani Mbedzi was found by his daughter hanging from roof trusses in his  bedroom. Matabeleland South police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Christopher Ngwenya said the incident occurred between last Thursday and Friday at Mbedzi’s homestead
