Sweet but deadly

I am as tasty as ever.

I catch your eye,

and you cannot help but put heaps of me in your mouth.

My name is Sugar.

You cannot stop stuffing spoonfuls of me into your mouth.

Without me, you would not gulp that drink.

Why do you keep adding me in your drinks?

You even drink every last drop.

 

I come in different forms,

mainly sweets, fizzy drinks and powders for kids.

I am colourful and tasty.

But let me warn you,

l am deadly,

although I fill your tongues with delight.

Be sugar-free, be diabetes-free.
