Award-winning gospel musician Takesure Zamar Ncube has paid tribute to revered preacher Bishop Dr Colin Nyathi after unveiling him as the guest of honour for his upcoming worship event scheduled for August 14 in Harare.

The event, titled One Sound: The Roar of Many Waters, is expected to bring together Christians from different backgrounds for a night of prayer, worship, and spiritual unity.

Open to the public free of charge, the gathering seeks to unite believers under one voice and one purpose through worship and revival.

In announcing Bishop Dr Nyathi as the special guest, Takesure Zamar described him as a spiritual father whose life and ministry have had a profound impact on him over the years.
“For over 20 years, I have had the honour and privilege of serving under a true general of the faith, Bishop Dr C Nyathi, a great revivalist, a father to many, and a visionary church founder whose ministry has planted more than 900 churches across nations,” said Ncube.

“His life, humility, discipline, doctrine, and passion for souls have greatly impacted my life, family, and ministry. Men like this are rare. They do not just preach revival; they carry it.”

He added that it was a privilege to welcome Bishop Dr Nyathi to the event as a special guest.
“It is with deep honour and gratitude that I welcome my father in the Lord, Bishop Dr Collins Nyathi, as our special guest at One Sound: The Roar of Many Waters,” he said.

Organisers say more gospel artistes and preachers expected to participate in the worship encounter will be announced in the coming weeks.
