AMBITIOUS Southern Region Division One side Talen Vision have made some changes to their executive, roping in Filabusi magistrate Abednigo Ndebele and Oliver Nkomo to assume the roles of board member legal and treasurer respectively.

Speaking on the sidelines of their coaches and executive members induction recently at Milton High School where the Talen Vision operational guide was spelt out by their president Khumbulani Nkomo and team’s consultant Cosmas “Tsano” Zulu, club chairman Elton Sinyosi revealed that he will be deputised by Ishmael Mandipedza.

He said Thembelihle Moyo will remain the executive director.

Nkomo takes over the treasurer’s office which was previously held by the late Cecilia Malunga who passed on last year.

Mishon Tsabalaka has been appointed secretary-general to succeed Banele Moyo who is now based in South Africa.

Xolani Banda will be in the position of board member marketing and communication, a post previously held by Barbra Njanjari.

Milton High School headmaster Similo Ncube is now the club’s board member competitions.

“There were slight changes to our executive team. Remember we have a football academy and an academic institution Ivinar Park Academy hence we thought of juggling our executive as we intended to see it have a more academic thrust. It’s all in an effort to align ourselves to the vision of the academic institution,” said Sinyosi, a retired educationist who was the headmaster of Filabusi Primary School for 21 years.

He also doubles up as Ivinar Park Academy school co-ordinator.  — @FungaiMuderere
