WINGER Talent Chawapiwa has signed for newly promoted Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side, Simba Bhora.
The talented Warriors’ player signed a two-year deal with the Shamva-based side.
Chawapiwa was a free agent after being released by South African DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune United in February last year.
“Firstly, I want to thank God for making this move happen. I’m happy to be back home again after so many years.
“I want to thank Simba Bhora for the opportunity they have given me to perform.
“It’s not easy for me to be here, but because of God’s grace, I am here. I am thankful for the opportunity presented to me,” he said.
“There were many clubs that wanted my signature, but Simba Bhora presented me with the best deal.
“Yes, this is a new club and obviously they have set targets and goals, which they have shared with me, and I will try as much as I can to help them achieve them.
“I’m also happy to be working under coach Tonderai Ndiraya. He is someone I have always looked up to. He is a great coach and someone who can help bring the best out of me.
“I think I’m ready for the challenge and to work with him. To the fans, I promise to do my best, and they should look forward to seeing the best version of me.”
Blessing Moyo, who was released by FC Platinum, has also joined the club with former Dynamos captain, Partson Jaure.
Former Hwange and ZPC Kariba forward, Vassili Kawe, and Hugh Chikosa, who was with Bulawayo Chiefs, have also signed for Simba Bhora.
The Shamva club is also set to complete the capture of CAPS United defender Valentine Musarurwa and Arthur Musiyiwa from Bulawayo Chiefs.
