YADAH midfielder, Tanaka Chikumba, is back on his feet after he was rushed to hospital in his team’s 1-0 win over Herentals on Saturday.

The playmaker is now preparing for their next assignment against Dynamos at Rufaro scheduled for Thursday.

But, his return for this clash depends on the details of the severity of the injury he sustained on the medical report which was given to the club.

Chikumba was having a fine game before he suffered a head injury just towards the break at the Heart Stadium.

What was worrying is that play was not stopped for nearly a minute despite his worrying condition.

The mini derby gave referee, Mercy Mayimbo a busy day who clearly struggled to handle the game.

Both coaches were left frustrated and refused to speak their minds fearing for the price they expected to pay for questioning the match officials.

The victory took the Miracle Boys just a place above the red zone as they have now racked up 14 points in 15 fixtures.

“I’m now feeling good but it was a tough experience because I think I lost myself after the incident.

“I have recovered well and I’m no longer feeling any pain, and it feels good that the boys won the game,” said Chikumba.

Dynamos have registered just a win in 15 attempts and it is something that will not give Takaendesa Jongwe sleepless nights.

And, he is probably expected by his bosses to record the Miracle Boys’s fourth victory of the season.

DeMbare are just three points above Kwekwe United who are at the bottom of the league table after registering eight points in 15 games.
