THE Nedbank Premier Netball League is set to ignite Mutare this weekend as 16 teams converge for the final round of fixtures before the league breaks for its halfway mark.

With bragging rights and crucial points at stake, the City of Mutare will become the country’s netball capital on Saturday and Sunday, as teams lock horns in a two-day bubble at Dangare Primary School in Sakubva.

All eyes will be on unbeaten Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) Queens, who currently lead the standings and are determined to maintain their grip at the top.

But chasing hard are Manyame Falcons, sitting second and aiming to close the gap, before the league recess.
